A PASSION FOR BUSINESS AND SOCIETY

Welcome to my website!

I am a Senior Lecturer in Sustainable Business at Cranfield University (UK), an Affiliated Researcher at the Mistra Center for Sustainable Markets at Stockholm School of Economics (Sweden), and a Visiting Fellow at Sasin School of Management, Chulalongkorn University (Thailand).

My primary interest lies in Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability. Drawing on organization theory and sociology, I teach and research how companies navigate ethical and social challenges, and how (ir)responsibility is enacted in practice. Central to my work is a commitment to highlighting the ethical dimensions of business and understanding the experiences of marginalized workers and their collectives, especially in developing economies. As an ethnographer and qualitative researcher, I engage directly with workers and organizations in the field, aiming to produce research that contributes to academic discourse while also driving tangible, real-world change.

I hold a PhD in Business Administration from Stockholm School of Economics (Sweden), with a specialization in Sustainable Business and Social Responsibility. I further pursued postdoctoral research at the Centre for Social and Sustainable Innovation at the University of Victoria (Canada). My academic journey also includes a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University (Italy), a MSc in International Management (CEMS) from University College Dublin (Ireland), and an MBA in Management and Finance from McGill University (Canada).

Before entering academia, I worked for about six years in the fashion industry across Asia and Europe. This experience continues to shape my teaching and research. I am passionate about engaging with diverse cultures and communities, and I have lived in over ten countries across three continents. Much of my research is grounded in South and Southeast Asia, regions that deeply inspire my work.

Thank you for visiting and feel free to get in touch.
